The ES14 is made out of Plastic that minimal flex is present on the lid cover and the keyboard area giving it an above average build.

Despite the ice cream cartoon colors, Acer has a nice matte spiral pattern on the lid with a nice touch of lighter red color that adds more trend and its friendly aspect, this makes users to attract more by its sleek and colorful pattern giving the laptop a trendy approach that fingerprint smudges is not present on the unit itself.
LOOKS AND DESIGN:Ā 7.5/10
DISPLAY, WEBCAM, TRACKPAD, KEYBOARD
The display is mediocre with a reflective coating to be a bit impossible to use outdoors, and the colors are washed out since the panel used is a TN panel that gives poor viewing angles, but colors of the display is great overall.
The webcam shares the same quality as the Acer VX15 that we have reviewed back in the past, giving a decent approach for SKYPE calls and other light conference and microphone quality is average that is located on the palm rest area beside the Intel badge.
The trackpad is precise and a bit jumpy on our unit that slight trampoline bounce is making the trackpad a bit loose, however the trackpad is a nice touch to its performance standpoint.
The Keyboard is fully sized with small up and down arrow, a bit spongy to the feel but easy and most importantly spacing between each keys are good with a reasonable travel to make it an easy keyboard to type on nut not too perfect.

PERFORMANCE & MAINTENANCE:
The INTEL Celeron N3350 is well equipped for the price, Efficiency and Performance is superb that is well maintained for basic productivity and gaming.
The 4 GB ram and 500 GB HDD is decent that we expect better in this price range for an SSD storage and better output towards boot up times and program loads.
Speakers are okay that uses Dolby audio whereas the performance is above average, mid-tones is a bit present, highs are well pronounced, but the bass is expected to be barely present, its bottom facing giving the feedback to have a bit louder in sound volume.
The battery 4 Cells 2800MAH is a huge pus giving a more improved battery life, where acer claims that this laptop will last for 7hrs on paper so here are some of the results.

Maintenance wise the ES 14 has a bottom panel dedicated in upgrading your components easily, with one screw holding it in place, where you can upgrade the HDD, swap the optical drive to a secondary caddy, RAM that supports DDR3L 1600 MHZ memory, Wi-Fi chip to be replaced to an AC option, and lastly the CPU and GPU is soldered in place but cleaning is required to remove the bottom panel.

The ES14 is well priced for the specs, design, and more importantly the practicality given for a subnotebook ranging from 13000 ā to 25000 Philippine pesos respectively. Where getting a better variant is a step up and better performance output.

The Acer ES 14 have some trendy looks and more important to have its practicality in its own philosophy, however this makes the laptop to have a bit more improvement like better build quality, Performance to offer with an SSD to boost the programās loading times, improved trackpad sturdiness, webcam upgrades, and also a touch of USB type-C and dedicated graphics option.
CONCLUSION
For students and budget consumers who wants to have a more practical laptop with the sleekest design and reasonable performance, The Es14 is a great choice, however for the price that needs to have better features and better graphics, this laptop is not the best option that I do say getting some other alternatives is a plus, overall the ES14 is a subnotebook that the price is just the right amount of a traditional wine beside it.

the note 9 is still slightly more sleeker but nothing has changed to its looks the S pen is more improved with bluetooth technology as a remote control that includes an sdk option for better use if the s pen from 0-40 seconds with better finer tip and pressure, also samsung dex is also supported to have the desktop computing experience using a usb type c to hdmi samsung
also announced the all new smartwatch called as the galaxy watch with different color options and different straps and themes available with military standards for durability, dx plus gorilla glass, low power optimized cpu and the wireless charger duo for the note 9 and the watch with health tracking feature similar to the previous generation
samsung also reveals another product in the sound department with bixby integration and a smart speaker function the galaxy home is similar to alexa, google home, and the home pod. The speaker uses a similar sound system from AKG with other smart options using your voice or any devices with 8 microphones. the Note 9 is available for pre order will be available on august 24
The 128 6gb model Note 9 will be priced at $999 while the top of the line 512gb 8gb ram is $1249. taking the benefit of the doubt for its reasonable price similar to the iphone x’s price tag of 1000 dollars, it is a taking a pinch of salt to say the least.
