OPENING UP THE DISPLAY GREETS A 1920*1080 PIXEL IPS DISPLAY THAT HAS A NANOEDGE TECHNOLOGY IN WHICH THE SIDE BEZEL IS DECREASED TO A WIDER 98% SCREEN TO BODY RATIO, THAT COMES WITH A 120HZ PANEL, GIVING BETTER VIEWING ANGLES AND PLEASURE TO WATCH VIDEOS AND PLAYING GAMES, WHILE DEVELOPERS AND CREATORS MIGHT FIND IT USEFUL, WHILE COLORS AND CONTRAST IS DECENT. I/O ON THE OTHERHAND IS WHERE THE LAPTOP LACKS, ON THE RIGHT WE HAVE THE SECURITY LOCK, ON THE RIGHT WE HAVE THE DC POWER IN, ETHERNET PORT, HDMI. 3 SETS OF USB PORTS, AND THE COMBO AUDIO JACK, AS RIGHT HANDED USERS ARE COMFORDABLE IN USING THE LAPTOP COMPARED TO LEFT HANDED USERS WITH ALL THE PORTS ON THE LEFT SIDE, PLUS NO USB TYPE C NOR AN ADDITIONAL USB PORT AND AN SD CARD PORT.
SPECS: Our unit is on the base configuration where the price on the pictures are what we can expect, however due to price hike it was increased.
PERFORMANCE:
The fx505dy is a budget to the gaming laptop entry as it performs well, in some task, but the fx505dt has better advantage to the 1650’s better and more modern performance in the graphics part based on the chart.
For productivity the ryzen 5 3550H is compelling and useful for content creation, autocad, and other intensive workload on this laptop can conquer, however, the mix memory is one of the downside of AMD CPU’s that its not in favor of different memory type on speed, capacity, and cl as the memory on mixed config the red shows the fx505dy dipped a bit on the 20gb ram config compared to 16gb on the fx505dy, whereas the gtx 1650 is still king in the productivity and gaming.
Thermals is one key point loss for this laptop, as the performance is good, the warm keys are not too hot to the touch , where the temps are quite in a different pace where thermal throttle shows its slight percentage, as the laptops cooling system is not enough to cool the 2 chips, that one heat-pipe cools both chips and another for the GPU, as there are many spaces on the internals of the laptops.
where the silent fan mode is not too loud but useable for office, balanced mode gives the fans to ramp up and down randomly even on medium load, and turbo mode to maximize its speed that is audible when not using headphones to play games

Audio: Bottom facing and using DTS sound, the laptop speaker performs fine in terms of audio, as the bass is minimal, highs is louder and mids are subtle, whis is okay for casual media listening.
battery:
the 48wh battery Falls short in the battery runtime, given its high performance comes with a fair battery life as the wh battery rating is not enough if you need the juice to same more and to use the unit to almost 5-8 hrs of use that gives to say for the price that a better wh capacity will make a better chance to extend its hrs of use.
Conclusion, for under 50000.00 its okay to get the fx505dy if you want to play games and content creation while doing some work and school, but the fx505dt offers better value and better performance in graphics for your cup of coffee, overall its not the most perfect laptops out there but, the value for money gives this laptop a reasonable cause.
